Miner Guide
Morana uses the KawPow proof-of-work algorithm (GPU mining).
Connect
Stratum URL: stratum+tcp://pool.morana.network:3032
Username: <your-transparent-address>.<worker>
Password: x
Example (T-Rex, NVIDIA)
t-rex -a kawpow -o stratum+tcp://pool.morana.network:3032 -u tmor1qYOUR_ADDRESS.worker1 -p x
Miners
Every miner below documents KawPow support in its own project. The pool speaks plain KawPow stratum, so any of them connects the same way — the URL, the worker format and the password are the ones above.
| Miner | GPUs | Algorithm flag |
|---|---|---|
| T-Rex | NVIDIA | -a kawpow |
| kawpowminer | NVIDIA, AMD | kawpow only, no flag |
| lolMiner | AMD, NVIDIA | --algo KAWPOW |
| TeamRedMiner | AMD | -a kawpow |
| NBMiner | NVIDIA, AMD | -a kawpow |
| GMiner | NVIDIA, AMD | --algo kawpow |
| SRBMiner-Multi | AMD, NVIDIA | --algorithm kawpow |
| WildRig Multi | AMD, NVIDIA | --algo kawpow |
| BzMiner | NVIDIA, AMD | -a kawpow |
| Rigel | NVIDIA | -a kawpow |
| miniZ | NVIDIA | --par=kawpow |
| NanoMiner | NVIDIA, AMD | algorithm=kawpow |
HONEST COLUMN. The last column says whether WE have run that miner against this pool, not whether it works. Only T-Rex has been: on 2026-07 it mined blocks with more than fifty accepted shares and zero rejected, at 3.9–7.2 MH/s. The rest are listed on the strength of their own documentation; if one of them fails here, that is a finding we want, not a promise we made.
Variable difficulty
The pool adjusts difficulty per worker (vardiff). Expect a short warm-up while difficulty calibrates to your hashrate. Some rejected shares during this window are normal.
Payout policy
- The dev fund is consensus-level — enforced by the protocol, not the pool.
- The pool fee is 1%.
- The operator pays the transaction fee for payouts from the treasury.
NiceHash
Rented hashrate is permitted on testnet for stress-testing, but large sudden swings destabilize difficulty. Be considerate of other miners.
Testnet coins have no value. Do not buy, sell, or trade them.
