Running on the tmor testnet
Morana Messenger
An end-to-end encrypted messenger running over the encrypted relay swarm. It is built and released — and it runs on an invited, foundation-operated testnet that has not been independently audited.
What it does today
Private by default
These are shipped features, exercised on the invited testnet — not a wish list.
End-to-end encryption
Messages encrypted on your device; relays carry ciphertext and never see plaintext. Unaudited, on the invited testnet — no external review has checked this.
Two independent identities
Morana for everyday use, and Shadow — onion-only, with its own separate recovery phrase.
Ecosystem-native
Shares the Morana Aurora design and privacy model.
Honest status
Android builds are published for testers, but there is still no way to authenticate a Morana binary — see Verify Your Download. Access is by invitation, the relay swarm is foundation-operated, and no independent audit has been completed. Treat it as a testnet you are helping us prove, not a finished product.
