MORANA
NETWORK

Privacy. For Everyone.

Morana is a privacy-first proof-of-work cryptocurrency combining a next-generation blockchain, a light wallet, a KawPow mining pool, and an end-to-end encrypted messenger. Built for sovereignty. Today it runs as an unaudited, invited testnet.

What Morana gives you

Eight differences, each in plain words

Three technologies in one coin

GPU mining, private transfers and secure messaging. Usually each is a separate project with its own token, team and risks.

A chat that cannot be switched off

Most crypto projects run their chat on their own servers, so they can close it or read it. Here messages travel through an open swarm of independent relays.

Your identity lives in the blockchain

In ordinary messengers your account sits in a company's database: it can be breached, forged or blocked. Here the name is a record in the chain.

Two lives, not an “anonymous mode”

Morana and Shadow are two independent profiles in one app, each with its own storage, settings and 24-word phrase. Morana carries money and a name; Shadow carries only the conversation.

Privacy is mathematics, not a promise

Many say “we do not read you”, and could start any day. Here the server physically cannot see the contents: it forwards sealed envelopes.

Relay list you can verify

The swarm's list comes from a signed registry, not from settings somebody can swap. Today the testnet runs by invitation; the code that verifies the signature is the same either way.

Economics on formulas

No master key exists to raise prices, print coins or ban anyone. Prices, rewards and relay health are computed by the network's own code.

No phone number, no e-mail

To start talking you need no number, no address and no document.

Private By Architecture

Morana's architecture is designed from the ground up for privacy, decentralization, and interoperability. Every layer protects your data.

Learn More

Private by Default

Shielded transactions hide amounts and parties with advanced cryptography.

Details

Decentralized PoW Core

KawPow proof-of-work, open to any GPU. A launch reserve of 525,000,000 MOR is paid at genesis on top of what is mined — and today’s testnet still runs on foundation-operated servers.

Open & Interoperable

Built to connect across chains, protocols, and communities. No walls.

Roadmap

Morana is moving through four broad stages: invited test network, open test network, independent audit, and mainnet preparation. The planned launch window is Q1–Q2 2027. This is a working target, not a guaranteed date.

We are here

Invited test network — now

The chain, the mining pool, the wallet and the messenger all run on project-operated infrastructure with invited access. We are exercising the core paths and fixing what breaks.

Next

Open test network

Independent relay operators join, the on-chain relay rewards that are already built and gated are switched on, and the network is tested across third-party infrastructure.

Planned

Independent audit

External specialists review the cryptography, the onion routing, the wallet and the update system. Critical findings are fixed before launch.

Planned

Mainnet — planned for Q1–Q2 2027

Launch requires audited parameters, a key ceremony, reproducible signed builds and a release candidate. The window is a working target and moves if testing or the audit says it must.
